The Brief

RedBull ME commissioned us to create 2 film featurettes of prominent Emirati game-changers from different fields. One featured CrossFit athlete Shaikha & the second featured musician Omar Al Marzooqi. The idea for the series was to document their unique­­ journeys and courage to break conventions of culture and forge their own path.

We've got work to do

With both Shaikha & Omar we created an environment of openness so we could gain real insight into their lives and the culture they grew up in. From their homes to the spaces they convened at with friends, we got to experience the rituals within the culture, the spaces that become pivotal in honouring those rituals and how they inspire those who come from it.
